STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. The Triune God
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—fully trustworthy as the final rule for faith, life, and conduct.

3. The Person of Jesus Christ
We believe in the incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ—born of the Virgin Mary, truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.

4. The Work of Christ
We believe in the atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: that He died in our place, paid the full price for sin, and defeated evil, thereby reconciling us to God.

5. The Resurrection and Reign of Christ
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ as the first fruits of our own resurrection; His ascension to the Father; and His present reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.

6. Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe that sinners are justified solely by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

7. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts of sin, brings new birth, unites believers with Christ, empowers discipleship, and enables bold and faithful witness.

8. The Church
We believe in the Church—the body of Christ, both local and universal. All believers are a holy priesthood, given life by the Spirit and endowed with spiritual gifts to worship God, proclaim the gospel, and advance justice, mercy, and love in the world.

9. The Return of Christ and Final Judgement
We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil God’s redemptive purposes. He will raise all people to judgement, granting eternal life to the redeemed and eternal separation from God to the lost, and will establish a new heaven and a new earth.

10. Humanity and the Image of God
We believe that God created humanity in His image, intentionally male and female. Each gender reflects God’s design with unique and complementary qualities. The distinction of male and female reveals God’s purposes for identity, relationships, sexuality, and family. Both are essential for procreation and form the optimal structure for raising children.

11. Marriage
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God as a lifelong, conjugal union between one man and one woman, established for the flourishing of individuals, families, and society.
